Excerpt from Jennifer Gobin, Granddaughter of Marie 'Mary' Gobin. September 4, 2003
. Aunt Mary was born in 1866 and was the oldest of FX and Cecile's children. I knew her as a small child and as a teenager when she was in a care facility in the 1960s. She must have been getting very close to 100 years old. When I was very young Aunt Mary lived in a small house in Omak, Washington on the Colville Indian Reservation a few blocks from where we lived. With her was her second husband, Luc Charles Groslouis and her brother Frank who had had a stroke and only could say tsuhcoo. How's that for more than you wanted to know. I was afraid of them because they were old and their house was all dark with the blinds drawn. Kids are so silly. The stories they could have told!
